Variety's Boat for Hope was a great success this year. Approximately 400 kids with special needs donned their best pirate gear for a fun-filled day of adventure on the high seas. Skippers went all out with costumes and decorated yachts to give the kids and their families a memorable day out on the water. Back on land the event continued with water fights, a petting zoo, a barbecue and many more family activities. The PY crew had a great time serving up delicious root beer floats to all the pirates, young and old!

The annual Westerly Yacht Sales' Beneteau Rendezvous is taking place on June 24-26 in Telegraph Harbour on Thetis Island. The popular event is a chance for Beneteau owners to meet new people and enjoy a fun weekend in British Columbia. Each year the event is different, with boaters travelling from all over North America to attend.
