In the July, 1978, issue of Pacific Yachting this ad featured the newest way to enjoy a cold brew on your boat. The Draught Gold Beer Ball came with a built in cooler system, allowing you to drink draught beer anywhere you cruised to. The 12-inch diameter gold ball claimed it was easy to store and stayed cold for up to two days. We're sure the Beer Ball would give modern day mini-kegs a run for their money!
