Charlie 3: Last Full Day for C3 and B3
When students awoke this morning they were surrounded by blue skies, clear waters, and facing the many large boulders at the Baths. We had an early start to the day and went ashore at the Baths at 7:30 to jump off Jump Rock, go for a hike to the top of the Baths and Devil's Bay, and/or go for a hikel (hike + snorkel). Everyone really enjoyed their last morning at such a beautiful place in the BVIs. Venture II boys were completely in awe of the caves and the worn down rocks that...

Similar to the day before, we split up yesterday into two different groups for the morning's activities. Sail Pending and Venture II went for their last dive of the program at the Flintstones, a unique dive spot that has tons of huge boulders and sea anemones. Jason completed his 50th dive in the morning and is now a Master Scuba Diver – congrats to him on this huge accomplishment! Oceanheart enjoyed the shops at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour and then sailed over to Fallen J...

Bravo 3: Sail Caribbean Challenge Day!
After a morning sleep in, the C3 and B3 crews got ready for Sail Caribbean Challenge Day, when the teens take full command of their boats and must carry out all the related duties and responsibilities for the entire day, without any assistance from the staff (except for safety issues). Before breakfast the Captain, Mate, and Navigator of the Day from each boat came to the staff boat to hear a briefing on the day's schedule and activities. With the day's goals in hand, the teen crews ...

Charlie 3: Beach Clean up at Norman Island
While on Norman Island a few days ago, the Charlie crew dressed in perfect pirate attire for Pirate Day and headed to shore for a two-hour beach cleanup of Bluff Bay. The beach was completely covered in trash that had washed ashore and the students did a fantastic job of collecting about 30 bags of trash! Venture II collected the most trash out of the three boats by finding huge fishing nets, large buckets, and hoses. For their accomplish, staff member Melissa did their dishes ...

Bravo 3: YEP and a Night Sail
Yesterday was another exciting day on our Charlie 3 and Bravo 3 programs. Lots of action - sailing, watersports, diving and a night sail! In the morning, Rescue Divers, recreational and Specialty Divers explored the famous Wreck of the Rhone where they saw a stingray, a 5-foot barracuda, and got to rub the lucky porthole. While those divers were submerged, the rest of the Charlie group (the AOW divers) split up for a boys vs. girls sail. All the advanced boy divers sailed...
