There are several ways to contribute to Pacific Yachting magazine. Got a funny story about your adventures at sea and the lessons you've learned? Enter your story for COCKPIT CONFESSIONS. Want to share your musings about the cruising life? Send us a short essay of your thoughts for REFLECTIONS. Know of a perfect anchorage that you'd like to share with other readers? Submit a short piece for our new column FAVOURITE GUNKHOLES. Are you a freelance writer with a passion for boats and the know-how to articulate it? Query the editor with your idea about boating in B.C. If you're a photographer that shoots boats around the coast, we'd love to see your best shots. COCKPIT CONFESSIONS Send your yarn of up to 500 words. Keep it light, make us laugh if you can, and tell us what you learned from your experience. Include your name, your boat's name and an email address or phone number where we can reach you. If your story is chosen we will award you the original artwork by cartoonist Dave Alavoine as a keepsake. REFLECTIONS Submit an essay of your musings, lessons learned, adventures, joys and frustrations with all things boating related. Aim for 800-1,000 words and follow our editorial guidelines. If we print your essay, you'll be compensated for your work. FAVOURITE GUNKHOLES WIN A ONE-YEAR SUBSCRIPTION TO PACIFIC YACHTING! Submit an article about your favourite gunkhole. In up to 500 words, explain why it’s your favourite, what its attractions are, plus how to get to it (and if there are difficulties). Include a short bio about yourself along with up to five photos.
