 After 40 years of producing the West Coast’s most comprehensive recreational boating magazine, Pacific Yachting now offers readers an easy way to search our archives online. Two new searchable indexes allow readers to explore and find listings for every feature article and boat review ever published in the magazine—all via the website. All of PY’s past columns and do-it-yourself articles are also indexed.
These indexes are particularly useful for anyone planning a cruise or looking to read past articles about a desired destination. For example, someone seeking information and cruising tips for Desolation Sound need only search our “Features Index” to find every article we’ve ever printed about the area and, most importantly, in which issue the article appeared. If they’ve been a subscriber for years, they can then look through their own back issues to find the article. Another option is to request a copy of the article or boat review be faxed, mailed or emailed (depending on availability) for a nominal fee; send requests to editorial@pacific
