To participate in the Recreational Boater’s Environmental Report Card, boaters must provide information on the state of our coast from their experience while cruising.
Forms may be filled in online or downloaded as PDFs and printed then mailed or faxed to our offices. The first form is the “Stop Log”; please complete one form for each stop on a given cruise or for any area of concern. The “Stop Log” has spaces for comments on water quality, debris, industrial pollution, wildlife and more.
The second form, “General Comments,” should be filled out upon completion of the cruise; it asks for overall observations, comments and evaluation.
Information will be collected and summaries published on an ongoing, regular basis.
Participants’ names and contact information are needed for verification purposes but will remain confidential and will not be made available to any third parties. Only the Environmental Report Card data will be made public.
The Recreational Boater’s Environmental Report Card project invites your participation. Together we can help keep our coast beautiful and clean—for many generations to come.
