Spotlights and music heralded the opening of M&P’s new waterfront facility.
Two new Sea Ray yachts were unveiled at a special Coal Harbour gala event in January during the official opening of M&P Yacht Centre’s new waterfront facility. President and general manager Bob Pappajohn officiated and introduced the 2008 Sea Ray 47 Sedan Bridge and 330 Sundancer. A sizeable crowd of Sea Ray owners gathered in a large, heated tent on the dock at Coal Harbour Marina to help inaugurate the new offices and the arrival of the yachts.

The two new vessels, illuminated by searchlights and accompanied by classical music, made their way down the fairway to tie up at the open end of the tent. As the Sea Rays pirouetted to show off their lines and features, two musicians—each standing on the spacious swimstep of the two boats—rendered tunes on violin and saxophone, respectively. The stunning performance was no doubt conceived by Sea Ray’s Pappajohn, himself an accomplished musician.

In addition to celebrating the new offices and the latest yachts, M&P was also marking its recognition by the Sea Ray manufacturing company as the top dealer in Canada and among the top 100 in North America (number 34). It was also awarded the coveted Ambassador Dealer status for the third consecutive year.
