The Schooner Cove Yacht Club, located just north of the entrance to Nanoose Bay, is proud to announce the 25th anniversary of its popular Race Around the Rocks Regatta. This event is well known for its great racing, lively dock parties, salmon barbecue, wonderful prizes and famous T-shirts.
In addition to the traditional two days of racing around the marks and islands off spectacular Schooner Cove, there will be a 40-mile distance race around beautiful Lasqueti Island on June 2.
Free moorage is provided to visiting boats by Schooner Cove Marina, a host keg party and burgers on the dock is scheduled for Friday, June 1 and complimentary breakfasts are included June 2–3. Visit www.scyc.ca for more information.
